OG Lone Star Bolo

I made this from a vintage bolo I really appreciated the detail on, especially around the coast, and a shield from a belt buckle I’d bought online that showed up and was half the size I’d expected. I put it in my hand and the shield fell off almost immediately while I was looking at it. Sometimes life has good comedic timing.

I really like the shield though and have a feeling it was on something legit at some point. It’ll be here for a while though, I put some e6000 on it. I think the Bolo was $15 and the disappointing belt buckle (but with a cool old shield) was $30. So gonna try to recover that $45.
